Imagine the delight in discovering the Karen Robertson Collection at High Point Market! Seeing these breathtaking display of treasures immediately took my breath away. Talk about sophisticated, chic beachy art. The hand-tinted sea fans suspended in glass are incredible in person. Well really all of it is...I could have lingered for hours! Coastal Living's Ultimate Beach House - Part 1

I've been devouring Tria Giovan's heavenly photos of Coastal Living's Ultimate Beach House designed by Phoebe Howard over breakfast for the last few weeks and each morning I discover fantastic new details! It was insta-love with the blue subway tile in the kitchen, but I think it's great how they chose fumed oak cabinets for the bottom and white painted cabinets for the top. The living room and dining are straight up coastal cool with the crisp navy and white stripes against the calm backdrop of Pratt and Lambert's Hesperia on the walls. I love how she used banquettes instead of chairs too! And how about that fab paddle mirror?!? I have no idea where it's from, but I saw a similar aqua one when we were in Nantucket in a cute shop called Anderson's Fine Gifts. Anyone have any idea where else you can get one??

Liz Carroll Interiors

It feels like forever since I've shared a boy's room featuring our favorite color! Why should girls have all the fun? Well I know for certain one little guy who is loving his new big-boy room. His mom is Liz Carroll, an interior designer in Wilmington, NC. I love the upbeat color scheme she chose to bring some happy energy to his room, photographed here by Allison Breiner. What kid wouldn't dig the bunkbeds and all the great built-ins?! And of course those fun bean bag chairs covered in Trina Turk's Sonriza Print from Schumacher and Jonathan Adler's awesome Giraffe Lamp! I'm loving the fabric she chose for the window treatments as well (Outdura Fabric in Aquatic and Natural White). They look great against Thibaut's (scrubbable!) Harbour Linen Wallpaper in Beige. Designer Lauren Guarcello serves us another tasty treat with this home, filled with a fresh approach and fabulous fabrics! I'm loving the burst of turquoise on the chair upholstered in Quadrille's Nitik II from China Seas. Looks so great next to that navy sofa trimmed in green! Be still my heart! Can you see why Lynn Morgan Design is quickly becoming one of my all-time favorites?? I mean her entire portfolio is filled with gems like this Darien, CT home.
