When I look at these images from the portfolio of Los Angeles-based designer Kristen Panitch, I don't see some of the cutest rooms ever, I see life. The kids rooms feel so magical, so real and happy! Even the living areas are so kid-friendly, I can just see the families enjoying every inch of these rooms. The colors, the patterns, the layers, the lighting, the fabrics, the toys and crayons...I just love all of it. And I just have to say, that has to be one of the best kitchens I've ever laid my eyes on. Lots more waiting for you right over here!

Sally Markham

This South Carolina vacation home designed by Sally Markham and photographed by Thomas Loof featured in June's House Beautiful is all about the details. The windows are magnificent, by far my favorite feature here. The black perfectly frames their gorgeous view! I love the blue brush fringe on the white sofa too...such a fun touch. And did you guys notice the lattice railing on the bunk beds? The inside circles are painted Benjamin Moore's Peacock Blue! Love it!

I think it was fate that I accidentally received two issues of the new House Beautiful this month. One to keep and one to plaster my drool all over, thanks to this exuberant ocean-side home designed by Mona Ross Berman and photographed by Jonny Valiant. I can safely say this is my newest dream home, so fresh and vibrant, filled with white and juicy pops of color and pattern. I. Love. It. All. It's just so bright and sunny, so HAPPY. I love happy. I can imagine turning up the stereo and listening to a little "Sound of Sunshine" here. In fact, go play the song in another window and come back for another look at the photos. Lynn Morgan Design

To have a cute little waterside cottage in Nantucket...how many of us would be in absolute heaven?! This picture-perfect one by architects Brooks & Falatico with interior design by Lynn Morgan Design is just what I'd dream up for myself. All that white spiced up with yummy turquoise! I'm in love with those turquoise Moroccan poufs in the living room and the big, cozy sectional. And how about the turquoise lacquered floor in the bedroom?! Swoon!
