  2. The Goodnight Sleep Trainer - 2011-03-22 09:30:40-04
New parents will love the Goodnight Sleep Trainer which can be purchased online from Think Geek. The Goodnight Sleep Trainer sleep trains your child and has been developed by a pediatrician.  Dr. Tucker’s method of sleep training involves maintaining a balance between letting a baby cry and self-soothe back to sleep and you coming in to provide the baby comfort. The Goodnight Sleep Trainer is easy to operate: Push “Down to Sleep” at bed or nap time. Push “Up to Play” when sleep time is over. Push “Crying” if baby cries between the two to start the progressive time. When your child falls asleep, stop the timer by pressing “Down to Sleep” again. If the short timer finishes, briefly comfort your child and then press “Done Checking” to restart the timer. Your baby will gradually learn to fall asleep on his or her own! 4. M&Mme by Valentine Loellmann - 2011-03-22 12:42:39-04
Here are some mysterious looking cabinets called the M&Mme which aim to provide a functional and relational experience. The porthole and repurposed bankirai wood ship-plank doors give a nod to their watery roots and present a nostalgia toward their previous lives. They are great for storage but most importantly boast of magnificent craftsmanship. Surely something you would want in your souped-up home, especially if you are the sucker for some ancient and medieval decorate furnishings from the past. Read M&Mme by Valentine Loellmann
  5. SERENGETI Dog Bed - 2011-03-22 16:18:20-04
Want an attractive yet durable bed for your large dog? Then do check out the diverse collection at P.L.A.Y. One of my favorite pieces is the SERENGETI Dog Bed which has a very wild and vibrant design and is selling for $179.00. Made from tough, upholstery-grade micro-fiber top  which is soft and comfortable, but stands up to heavy paw-traffic, the bed has a custom-made P.L.A.Y.-zipper which makes it easy to slip cover off for washing. 6. DIY: Geeky Homemade Lamp - 2011-03-22 17:19:41-04
Embrace the geeky side of yours and don’t be afraid to show it off. Check out the uber-geeky yet trendy Homemade Lamp designed by Anonymity Blaze. The idea is to replace the  stenciled/sketched  floor lamp panels with with pictures of all things  geeky: “So, today's crafty post. I had this floor lamp that I loved very much, but some of the panels had been damaged over the years, so I decided to cut all the panels out, replace the ones that were too badly ripped and salvage the ones that weren't. Maybe I'd add some small embellishments, I thought. Then it turned into an epic stencil project that took up all my crafts-for-me time throughout January and February.” Looks easy enough and can be attempted at home as well. DIY: Geeky Homemade Lamp
  7. The Pillow Light - 2011-03-22 20:26:47-04
The Pillow light by Marleen Kurvers is one of the oddest designs I have come across since its actually a lamp that has been shaped like a pillow. Made of glass, the lamp has a  light bulb fitted inside so that it emits a soft glow and moonlights as a night light. Innovative design but I am pretty sure I wouldn’t rest my head on something that is made of glass! The Pillow Light
  8. The Cow Table - 2011-03-22 21:42:44-04
If you want something creative to work on, the Cow Table is something for you. Inspired by something natural or animalistic, the Cow Table is another odd-looking table that should be fit for office or maybe even perhaps for some other use like placement of stuff for a more organized pad. Though the edges seem to have questionable intent, you have to give designer Kevin Krumniki credit for trying to be imaginative this one. But I highly doubt any executive would want this in his office. A home office perhaps? Read The Cow Table
  9. The Planit Split Sink - 2011-03-23 12:30:17-04
Hate how everything is cramped in your tiny tiny apartment? Then one good way to utilize space is to get multi-functional furniture like the  Planit Split Sink. What makes this washbasin truly unique is the fact that it comes with a storage space and is a combination of a  countertop, a storage compartment and a washbasin. Kudos to Italian bathroom brand, Planit  for designing such a multi-tasking piece of furniture. Via Bathroom Designed The Planit Split Sink

  11. Svilen Gamolov's "Eye of the Storm" Coffee Table - 2011-03-23 15:32:14-04
Svilen Gamolov's "Eye of the Storm" coffee table is just a concept and maybe it should remain that way since it is pretty darn creepy. But then again thats my own personal opinion and some of you might enjoy its rather bizarre design. Made of glass, stainless steel and glossy paint, the unique coffee table measures  47 cm., width – 112 cm., depth – 64 cm and will be more appropriate for commercial spaces like bar, waiting lounges than homes. What say? Svilen Gamolov's "Eye of the Storm" Coffee Table

Here is an innovative table you may want to get under your roof. The Northstar Table is actually the winner of the NASA Space Craft Contest together with Etsy, soliciting the imagination and creative nature of consumers that would be inspired by NASA's Space Shuttle Program. Apparently the Northstar Table got the grand prize. The table comes with a hidden compartment which can be opened by pressing one of the stars designed on its surface. The circular brass inlay represents the stars in the night sky on the evening of the first moon landing, and you have to identify the North Star in order to open the hidden drawer.
